An Ordinary Day in the Life: Quotidian Mysteries

This has been a true season of Epiphany…of seeing something that has been there all along - but now in a new way…an “ah-ha moment” of sorts. The term epiphany means “to show” or “to make known” or even “to reveal.”  After the 12 days of Christmas comes a time in the Christian calendar called Epiphany.  This is the ordinary time prior to Lent. You can read more about it here: http://www.cresourcei.org/cyepiph.html

Dots are being connected and curiousity sparked!  We are discovering this notion of “education as the science of relations.” In experiencing story we have begun a journey into deeper relationship - with both God and each other.  This story is unfolding and revealing itself in the everyday interactions of life, friendships, art, history, scripture, literature, poetry, nature and music.  We are being led into new pathways of learning, mystery and awe.

Here are a few pictures - snapshots from recent days - capturing sketches of what we are learning to see.
